Driftto for iPhone, iOS 16.4 and up. Three things fix almost everything, and they are right below. Anything else, the form reaches me directly.
Send a messageit lands in one inbox
No ticket number, no bot, no queue. You get a written answer back from the person who can change the app.
Fixes most of itin under a minute
Everything Driftto knows about a capture is in your history. Read the line under it and you already know what to do.
What the line under a capture means
- Sent
- It arrived, named by destination. Email never reaches this line, even once it is delivered.
- Waiting to send
- Queued, usually because you were offline. It goes through by itself once you are back on, and there is nothing for you to do. Email is the exception: it is already sent, we just cannot confirm it arrived, so the line can stay even when the mail is in the inbox.
- Couldn’t send
- It did not arrive. You see which destination failed, and a way to try again.
Try again, or Reconnect?
These mean different things, and the wrong one will not help. Try again appears after a temporary problem: a dropped connection, a slow network. Retrying usually works. Reconnect appears when a destination has stopped accepting captures from us, almost always because access was withdrawn on the other end, in Notion or Reminders’ own settings. Retrying will not fix that one; reconnecting will.
A capture I sent is gone
We keep no copy of what you write once it is delivered, or once seven days have passed unresolved. That is a deliberate choice rather than a bug, and the privacy policy says why. So if something is truly gone, we cannot retrieve it from our side. Check the destination itself: Reminders, Notion and email each keep whatever successfully arrived.
Voice capture writes the wrong words
Speech is converted to text entirely on your device, by iOS, so the accuracy is whatever your iPhone manages in that language. Check Settings, General, Keyboard, Dictation Languages, and make sure the language you speak is the one selected. We never see the audio, which also means we cannot improve the transcription for you.
Nothing is sending at all
Then it might be us rather than you. Say so in the form below and it gets looked at the same day. There is no status page to check: with one person answering, writing to that person is faster than any dashboard would be.
