The best Linear integrations in 2026 What connects Linear to your work, and what fills it.

Linear's directory lists dozens of integrations. Most teams need a few: one for the code, one for where problems get reported, and a way to get an issue in when you are away from a desk. These ten each do one of those jobs well.

I build Driftto, and it is on this list. It sits ninth, at the top of the part about getting issues in from your iPhone, because that is its only job: a thought you type or speak becomes an issue in a Linear team. Every other integration here is one I would point a Linear user to.

The list has four parts. Code and design, then the people who report problems, then automation, then getting issues in from your iPhone. Plans, prices and limits come from Linear's integration directory, its docs for each integration and its pricing page, Zapier's pricing page and the US App Store in October 2026.

The short list

Four of these tie Linear to your code and designs: GitHub, GitLab, Figma and Sentry. Three tie it to the people who report problems: Slack, Zendesk and Intercom. Zapier runs your own rules. Two get issues in from your iPhone: Driftto and Linear's own iOS app.

Code and design Where the work gets built.

1 GitHub

Linear · GitHub and Linear

The one most engineering teams set up first. An issue ID in a branch or pull request links the two and moves the status.

Price
Linear's page names no plan for GitHub.com. GitHub Enterprise Cloud and Server need Linear's Enterprise plan, and AI-written titles for new issues need Business.
Works with
GitHub organizations. An organization owner installs it for everything, or a repository admin installs it for chosen repositories.
What it does in Linear
Links pull requests and commits to issues, and moves status as a pull request is opened, reviewed and merged. Optional sync of GitHub Issues.
Setup
Enable it in Linear's integration settings, pick repositories, then connect your own GitHub account. Linking uses an issue ID plus a word like Fixes.
The catch
A GitHub organization can connect to only one Linear workspace. That is a GitHub limit, and commit linking also works with one organization only.

Name a branch with the issue ID, or write Fixes followed by the ID in the pull request, and Linear links them. By default an issue moves to In Progress when the pull request opens and to Done when it merges. You can set rules per team and per target branch.

GitHub Issues can sync too, one-way or two-way, but only issues created after you set it up, and only one repository can be two-way at a time.

2 GitLab

Linear · GitLab and Linear

The GitHub idea for GitLab teams. Merge requests link to issues, and the issue status follows the merge request.

Price
Linear's page names no plan. GitLab group-level webhooks need GitLab Premium or Ultimate; otherwise you connect projects one by one.
Works with
GitLab.com and self-managed GitLab 15.6 or newer. The self-managed instance must be reachable from the public internet.
What it does in Linear
Links merge requests to issues and moves status through draft, open, review, ready to merge and merged. Shows up to three recent reviewers.
Setup
Create an access token with the api scope, connect it in Linear, then add the webhook Linear gives you in GitLab.
The catch
It links merge requests only. There is no GitLab issue sync, and Linear's importer does not bring GitLab issues across.

Setup takes longer than GitHub's. You make a token, paste a webhook into GitLab and switch on four event types. Ready-to-merge detection needs merge request pipelines and the Pipelines must succeed setting.

GitLab has no bot accounts, so Linear's comments appear under the name of the token's owner. Linear recommends a dedicated user for that.

3 Figma

Linear · Figma and Linear

Gives designers and engineers one place to look. The frame sits in the issue, and the issue sits on the frame.

Price
Linear's page names no plan or tier for the Figma integration.
Works with
Figma frames, sections and pages. Paste a Figma link into an issue, comment or document and it becomes a preview.
What it does in Linear
The plugin creates issues from Figma, links existing ones, and changes an issue's team, status, assignee and project from inside Figma.
Setup
Connect Figma in Linear's integration settings for previews, and install the Linear plugin from the Figma Community for the rest.
The catch
Previews work only for publicly shared Figma files. Private files are not supported, and a preview is a snapshot you refresh by hand.

Two things come with it. Figma links in Linear turn into design previews, so nobody opens a new tab to see what the issue is about. And the plugin lets a designer file an issue from the frame itself, linked to it, in any team they have joined.

4 Sentry

Linear · Sentry and Linear

Turns a production error into an issue with the details filled in. When the issue is done, the error resolves.

Price
Linear's page names no plan for Sentry.
Works with
Sentry cloud accounts only. Self-hosted Sentry is not supported, and only one Sentry organization can be connected.
What it does in Linear
Creates a Linear issue from a Sentry issue, or links an existing one. Finishing the Linear issue resolves the linked Sentry issues.
Setup
Enable it in Linear's workspace settings. In Sentry, open an issue and choose Create Linear issue or Link Linear issue.
The catch
Only public Linear teams work. Making a team private breaks its existing connections.

Sentry fills in the description for you, and you add the title, team, assignee and priority. Sentry's issue and metric alerts can also create Linear issues by themselves, which suits a team that wants every new error to land in a triage queue.

Talking to customers and teammates Where problems get reported.

5 Slack

Linear · Slack and Linear

For a team that talks in Slack and plans in Linear. A message becomes an issue, and the thread stays in step.

Price
Linear's page names no plan for the core integration. Linear Asks, for people outside Linear, needs Business or Enterprise.
Works with
Slack channels, plus the @Linear agent. Private channels need /invite @Linear first. Slack guests can't use it.
What it does in Linear
Creates issues from messages, syncs comments between the Slack thread and the issue, unfurls links and posts team notifications.
Setup
A Linear admin connects the workspace in the integration settings. Then use More actions, Connect to apps, Create new issue on a message.
The catch
Synced threads don't exist in direct messages, and the lighter /linear command doesn't work in threads.

Right-click a message, create the issue, and the Slack thread becomes a synced thread. When someone marks the issue done, canceled or duplicate, the thread updates. Admins can offer up to ten issue templates inside Slack.

Notifications go the other way. A team can post issue creation, comments and status changes to a channel, and anyone in the channel can read them.

6 Zendesk

Linear · Zendesk and Linear

Support files the bug from the ticket, and the ticket reopens when engineering closes the issue.

Price
Business and Enterprise plans. Business is $16 a user a month billed yearly, on Linear's pricing page.
Works with
Zendesk tickets. Each agent who uses the sidebar widget needs their own Linear account.
What it does in Linear
Creates issues from tickets or links existing ones, and shows issue details in the ticket. A done or canceled issue reopens the ticket.
Setup
Install Linear from the Zendesk Marketplace, turn on Zendesk automation in Linear as a Zendesk admin, then each agent signs in.
The catch
Reopening needs both setup steps. Missing one is the most common reason tickets don't reopen.

Many tickets can link to one issue, and merging duplicate issues moves the Zendesk links to the one you keep. Issues from Zendesk go to Triage if the team has it on, and otherwise to the first backlog status. A Linear Agent option can read the whole conversation and draft the title and description.

7 Intercom

Linear · Intercom and Linear

The Zendesk idea for Intercom. A conversation links to the issue, and the customer request is recorded for you.

Price
Business and Enterprise plans only. Business is $16 a user a month billed yearly.
Works with
Intercom conversations. Anyone in Intercom can create or link issues, but only Linear users can open them in Linear.
What it does in Linear
Creates and links issues from conversations, shows them in the Intercom sidebar, and makes a customer request from the contact and company.
Setup
Enable it in Linear's integration settings, then pin the Linear app in the Intercom conversation sidebar.
The catch
Internal notes you leave in Intercom do not sync to the Linear issue.

Several conversations can link to one issue and one conversation to several issues. You can copy the conversation into the issue as a comment, and filter Linear views to issues that have Intercom links. When the issue completes or is canceled, the conversation reopens by default.

Automation Rules that run without you.

8 Zapier

Zapier · Web

For the connection the directory does not have. When something happens elsewhere, Zapier creates or updates a Linear issue.

Price
The free plan has 100 tasks a month and two-step Zaps. Professional is $19.99 a month billed yearly, or $29.99 monthly.
Works with
Linear on one side and any app in Zapier's catalog on the other.
What it does in Linear
Actions create or update an issue, add an attachment, post a comment and create a project. Triggers fire on new or updated issues, comments and projects.
Setup
Build a Zap from Linear's integration settings or from Zapier. Use the latest version of the Linear integration in the Zap.
The catch
Issues created through Zapier show Zapier as the creator, not the person who connected it. Multi-step Zaps need a paid plan.

A form answer becomes an issue, a new row in a sheet becomes an issue, a finished issue posts somewhere else. It reads like a sentence, which suits a first automation. Linear's directory does not list Make, so Zapier is the one no-code route Linear documents itself.

Getting issues in from your iPhone For the issue that comes to mind away from a desk.

9 Driftto

Made by me · iPhone

The fewest steps from a passing thought on your iPhone to a new issue in the Linear team you picked.

Price
Free to download. $2.99 a month, $19.99 a year with a free week for new subscribers, or $29.99 once.
Works with
iPhone, with Siri, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and a Control Center control on iOS 18.
What it does in Linear
Each capture becomes a new issue in the team you picked, in the project you picked if any. A due date is date only.
Setup
Connect Linear once, then choose a team and, if you want, a project. One capture can also go to Linear and other destinations at once.
The catch
It only creates issues. It sets no assignee, labels or priority, and it never reads, edits or syncs your existing issues.

Driftto opens to a capture field with the keyboard already up. You type or speak, tap Linear, and the note is an issue. A one-line note becomes the title. A longer note keeps its first line as the title and lands whole in the description. Saying "Hey Siri, new capture in Driftto" does the same without touching the phone.

I built it because the slow part of saving an idea was never the typing. It suits a bug you spot on the move or a task you think of on the train. If you need fields filled in at once, use another route. How Driftto and Linear fit together.

10 Linear Mobile

Linear · iPhone, iPad, Android

The route Linear itself offers. You get the whole issue, with every field, and your inbox in one app.

Price
Free to download on the US App Store. It needs an existing Linear account, and your Linear plan sets what you can do.
Works with
iPhone and iPad on iOS 18 or newer, and Android. It is a companion to Linear on desktop.
What it does in Linear
Files issues from a quick composer and can start an issue from a screenshot or photo. It also updates issues, projects and documents.
Setup
Install it and sign in with your Linear account. Its notifications can follow a schedule you set.
The catch
You open the app first. Linear's pages for the app mention no Siri, widget or share extension.

This is the right answer when you want an issue done properly: team, status, assignee, labels, in one place. It also holds your inbox and lets you comment and review project updates. What it does not try to be is the fastest way to save a half-formed thought, which is a different job.

How I picked

An integration made the list if it does a clear job for a team that plans in Linear, and if Linear documents what it does. The first three parts were judged on what reaches Linear, what stays behind and which plan you need. The iPhone part on one criterion: how few steps stand between a thought on your iPhone and a new issue in a Linear team. On that criterion Driftto takes the fewest, so it leads that part and nothing else. Linear's own app does more per issue and is the better choice when you want every field right.

Linear's directory has many more entries, including AI agents, Notion, Raycast, Google Sheets and Jira as a migration path. If you are choosing between Linear and Jira, I compared the two. Nobody paid to be here and there are no affiliate links. When a plan or a price changes, this page changes with it.

Questions

What are Linear integrations?

Connections between Linear and other tools. Some link Linear issues to code, like GitHub and GitLab. Others turn messages, tickets or errors from Slack, Zendesk, Intercom and Sentry into issues, or run your own rules through Zapier.

Are Linear integrations free?

Many have no plan named on their Linear docs page, including GitHub, GitLab, Slack, Figma and Sentry. Zendesk and Intercom need the Business plan, $16 a user a month billed yearly. Linear's Free plan costs $0 and is capped at 250 issues.

Can you create Linear issues by email?

Yes. Linear Asks takes email: the subject becomes the title, the body becomes the description, and each email makes a new issue. A team can use an address Linear provides or one of its own that forwards in. Linear lists this for the Business and Enterprise plans.

Does Linear work with Jira?

Linear lists a Jira integration in its directory as a migration path for teams moving off Jira. It is not a day-to-day sync.

How do I add an issue to Linear from my iPhone quickly?

Linear's own iOS app files an issue from a quick composer and can start one from a screenshot. For a typed or spoken note that should become an issue in a team, a capture app like Driftto takes fewer steps than opening Linear.

Driftto is in the App Store now.
